About us

Scouting Troop 60 has been established in the Okanogan Valley for over 60 years.

Troop 71 was the first girl troop in Washington and is well on its way to producing its first Eagle Scout.

Our activities are centered around advancement, challenge, and service.

Parental Involvement

Scouting is a family activity that rewards both parent and Scout with memories, bonding, and mutual respect.

As the parent of a Scout, you are encouraged and needed to participate in fundraisers, events, camping trips and more. Lead your Scout down this path and your Scout will lead you to becoming a proud parent of a well developed outdoors person, servant, and leader.

Beyond Scouting

Scouting develops young people beyond the scope of its native activities such as camping, hiking, first aid, etc.

t's a character building process that promotes enthusiasm for the arts, nature, and people, coupled with a level of respect that promotes character and confidence. Our Scouts engage the local community, their own families and a worldwide community of Scouts.

Ready to begin Scouting?

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
